Garfunkel & Oates Explain Why Being A Loser Is Actually Great

You're Such A Loser... And That's A Good Thing

You know why it's good to lose sometimes in life. Because it means that you went out there and gave it a shot. You can't lose if you don't put yourself out there. And that in and of itself is kind of a win, right?

Well, no. Technically, you're still a lose, but as comedy/music duo Garfunkel and Oats explain, being a loser means you tried, which is something not a lot of people do.

Watch the uplifting music video above for a reminder that losing actually can be better than doing nothing.

"Garfunkel & Oates" airs Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. ET on IFC.
