HOW TO STAY OPEN TO LOVE
Feeling unlovable is like a weighted sinker on a fishing line.
It goes down.
To attract love we need to be buoyant like a cork, lighthearted and breezy, self-loving and free. We need to learn to be in the high vibration of love.
When we are feeling bad about ourselves, we become repellent to love. We become heavy and ponderous, bulky and burdensome. Our neediness, our unworthiness, or the insecurity that we aren't good enough can act like an anti-attractor to finding love.
In order to attract a healthy, happy relationship, we need to trust that we are worthy, that we are lovable, and that our man is trying to find us too!
The more desperately we want love, the more we might be unconsciously pushing it away! And, the more we doubt it, the longer it can take. Moreover, the more we try to force love when it's not right, the more wild goose chases we can go on!
You can look as pretty as can be, have your best red lipstick flirt on, and still not be able to attract your guy. The belief that you are unattractive or unwantable can put an invisible (but felt) STOP SIGN up to any man that walks near.
Here's the thing. Love is uplifting. Love goes up! Love lifts, love leverages, love likes, and love loves. We have to lift ourselves UP into the vibration of love.
When we stand in the center of our being, solid and steady, trusting and open, the right person will show up at the right time. It might not happen at the snap of a finger (in our timing,) but when we trust in the flow of our life, it will come naturally -- in spiritual timing.
You need to know, really know, that love is everywhere already! And in that spirit, be prepared to meet love everywhere!
So, how does this apply to your love life? Easy-peasy. Be open. Don't judge. Let it in. Let it out. Try not to remove yourself from love's attention. It seems easy, but it is not so easy.
Practice by loving everything in sight, loving everyone in sight! And recognize that this is an honor and a privilege. We get to love! We get to offer our heart energy to the world. By loving the world around us, we are preparing to receive it.
And understand this too; don't need love to come to you in a certain way. Let love come to you any way it does! Let love come to you in ALL the ways love can come: a happy conversation in the grocery store line, or a friendly "thank you" wave from the car you let pass in in front of you in heavy traffic, or a kiss on the cheek from your little niece. Love comes in all forms. Whether it be helpful assistance from a bank loan officer, or great big lick across the face from the dog, love is love is love is love.
And all love is good love. The more open you are to receiving love in all its forms, the more love you can receive in all its forms!
Because you are not limiting it in any way, you can let love flow to you in every way!
Including the love of your life.
The truth is, love is everywhere. From a spiritual perspective the more you expect to see love, the more love you will see! And, the more "in love" you are with everyone, the more everyone will fall in love with you!
Love is all around you. And love is all there is. You can't miss it, because it's everywhere you are!
Let it all in.
Give it all out.
This is the nature of love.
