Luke Perry Talks 'Goodnight For Justice' Sequel

Luke Perry returns to the Hallmark Movie Channel on Saturday in "Goodnight for Justice: The Measure Of A Man," the second installment in his Western film trilogy. He stopped by "Good Day LA" (weekdays, 9 a.m. PST on Fox) on Monday to explain his love of the genre. "Guns, girls, horses, whiskey, cards. Never cell phones, never computers, iPads, stuff like that," the self-described ludite explained. "You just comb your face and go to work."

Hallmark greenlit the second two films after the success of the first "Goodnight" movie, which premiered in January of 2011 and was the network's highest-rated film of all-time. In "The Measure of a Man," Goodnight meets a woman who may have connection to his father's killer.

Despite Perry's current project and his memorable roles in shows such as "Oz," "Jeremiah," and "John from Cincinnati," he will likely always be remembered as Dylan McKay from "Beverly Hills, 90210." As it turns out, he's still in touch with his co-stars from that iconic series. "We're all still in touch, and it's funny 'cuz people always ask me that, which makes me think that everybody likes the idea of us still all being in touch. I had a great time with those guys and whenever I see them and talk to them, it's still really good," he said. In fact, his "90210" co-star Jason Priestley directed the first "Goodnight" installment, but couldn't participate in the second because of scheduling conflicts.
