A search for a missing woman in an Australian national park came to an end recently, thanks to some good old-fashioned ingenuity. Lynette Joyce Bond, 68, wrote a message in the sand in the hopes rescuers would find her after her car broke down in Australia's Snowy River National Park.
Bond's abandoned car -- with a note saying she went looking for help -- sent a team of rescuers scouring the park in search of the missing woman. After four days of search, an aerial team found Bond waving her arms next to the message "HELP" written in the sand.
Watch the video to learn more about Bond's rescue and to hear about a traveling pair whose quick thinking saved their lives.
