Madeleine Albright's Pin Celebrates Her New Twitter Account In The Best Way

Madeleine Albright is known for her pins, the colorful and shiny baubles she uses to accentuate her jewel-toned skirt suits and jackets. The extensive pin collection is so famous, in fact, it's earned its own book, Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewel Box, and exhibition at the Smithsonian Castle.

So it's only natural that Albright would mark her latest momentous occasion with a brand new pin: a Twitter pin.

The former Secretary of State joined Twitter on Monday morning, tweeting, "First of 3 female SecState's - last to join Twitter. Better late than never!"

She also tweeted a photo of her new Twitter pin. What better way to mark the digital milestone than with some old school costume jewelry?
