Madonna's Birthday Lights Up With Her Recent Scandals (PHOTOS)

Happy birthday, Madonna!

Today, it's all about the now 54-year-old -- but then again, every day has seemed like Madonna day, as of late.

The "Material Girl" has been steadily stealing headlines for the past few weeks. In late July, after the tragic shooting at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater, Madonna was warned about the use of guns (props, of course) on her tour. But always the rebel, Madonna ignored warnings about using the weapons as part of her show, angering quite a few fans in the process.

But that's not all: Madonna's MDNA tour has also been the source of much controversy after she showed a swastiska emblazoned on the face of French politician Marine Le Pen at a concert in Paris. The move was, of course, met with booing and demands for refunds from the crowd.

And no Madonna scandal would be complete without showing a little skin: Madonna exposed her nipple in Istanbul and exposed her bum in London.

If Madge keeps it up, we have a feeling that 54 could be the year of her least-clothed scandal spree ever.
