American Idol just got a lot more magical.

On last night's American Idol Aspen auditions show, Fort Collins experimental comedy-rocker and air guitar extraordinaire, Magic Cyclops, made an appearance and air-rocked the judges' world.

"I have 11,000 air guitars and I know there's a guy in Belgium that I think has five more than me," Cyclops said during his pre-performance interview.

Magic Cyclops told the judges that it was "judges choice day" and gave them the option of hearing him sing Neil Diamond's Cracklin' Rosie or Jimmy Buffett's (or as Cyclops pronounces his name, "James Buffay") Margarittaville. The magic must have been very powerful in that audition room because the judges let him sing segments of both songs which, in the end, left all three judges stoned-faced, stunned and, most surprisingly of all, caused Randy to want to suddenly go to the bathroom.

But before Randy could go to the bathroom, Magic Cyclops fired off some sort of confetti belt as a fitting grand finale that can only be described as, that's right: magic. Randy appeared agitated by the performance and confronted Cyclops asking him to take off his sunglasses. To which Magic Cyclops replied, "I have no eyes."

Magic Cyclops had this to say to HuffPost about his performance:

On why he picked Neil Diamond and Jimmy Buffett songs:
I picked Neil Diamond because I thought he was dead and his family could use the cash, I picked Jimmy Buffett because it was playing in the lobby before I went into the audition.

How was it meeting Steven, J-Lo, Randy?
They should be honored to have met me. But it's not the first time I have been judged by celebrities.

Randy seemed like he was getting upset for some reason, what was the deal?
Magic makes some people uncomfortable mostly the ladies, he was clearly disturbed about how talented I am, clearly sometimes I can't even wrap my mind around it.

On not making it to Hollywood:
I will be living on the streets out there in no time as an out of work actor so it's cool -- a win-win either way.
