Maisie Williams recently filmed her first sex scene, but don't worry, it wasn't for "Game of Thrones."

In the 18-year-old actress' new indie drama "The Falling," a mysterious fainting spell breaks out at an all-girls school in 1969. Williams' Lydia is intent on getting answers, even if it means scolding her teachers and fighting the system. But "The Falling" doesn't just mark a deviation from her beloved Stark character, it also required Williams to film her first sex scene.

"It was extremely awkward!" the actress told Vulture in a recent interview. Luckily Williams' co-star Joe Cole was understanding. "We went out for a couple of lunches and stuff just to get to know each other," she said of Cole, "and we had days of rehearsal where we'd get to know our characters and spend a couple of hours with each other." By the time they filmed the scene, Williams said the two actors got along pretty well.

Williams also told the website that while filming both "The Falling" and her recent stint on "Doctor Who," she would threaten the casts with "Game of Thrones" spoilers if anyone "would wind [her] up." The actress is already back on the set of "GoT" Season 6, where she's been suffering with severe eye bruising from blind contacts. (Remember, Arya went blind at the end of Season 5 and is seemingly still going to be blind in Season 6.) Check out the trailer for "The Falling," which you can stream on VOD to hold you over until "GoT" returns.
