Maisie Williams Is Sure She Knows Jon Snow's Real, Terrible Fate

Don't test her.

On the red carpet at the 2015 Emmys, Maisie Williams seemed pretty damn sure she knows what really happened to Jon Snow.

"No, he's dead. Sorry," she said smugly, with the face of a teenager who's heard a story ten too many times. She seems even more confident than earlier in the summer, when she answered the same question with, "I don't think so. I'm very sorry!"

Okay, Maisie. When we saw him get stabbed to "death" and abandoned at Castle Black, he really, truly "died" like there's nothing that could've saved him. *Wink.*

"And the interview that you've all read [where] Kit spoiled it was fabricated, and it was totally false," she added. Last week, of course, Kit Harington supposedly gave an interview to a Belgian magazine called Humo, wherein he supposedly claimed he'd be under contract for "a while" -- supposedly into his 30s -- and everyone took that to mean Jon Snow will be back, in some form or another. The Huffington Post has reached out to Harington's representative for confirmation that the interview was fabricated, but has not heard back at time of publication.

For her part, Williams has now joined a legion of "Game of Thrones" insiders sharing thoughts on what's up with Harington's character.

Showrunner Dan Weiss suggested that Snow wargs in Season 6. An HBO executive told The Wrap, "Dead is dead is dead. He be dead. Yes." The Mother of Dragons hopes he'll be back -- even if it's not because she wants to see them make magical children together. Director David Nutter clapped President Obama on the shoulder to tell him, "Jon Snow is deader than dead."

So, yeah, things aren't looking great for our tousle-haired boy wonder. But no one can stop us from holding out hope.
