Just about every girl has owned a Barbie at one point in their life. Whether or not you actually liked playing with dolls, chances are that a friend or family member brought one of those classic rectangular boxes wrapped in pink paper to one of your birthday parties.

Whether she is inspiring girls to be whatever they want to be and to reach for their dreams, or inspiring other companies to make more realistic dolls for girls to look up to, you can't deny that Barbie is a household name that everyone knows.

Although Barbie has faced some controversies over the years, she has evolved with time, and still remains a classic and iconic toy.

Before Barbie was available at just about every toy store you could find in a variety of ethnicities and shapes, her look was very distinct. Blonde hair, blue eyes, pink lipstick and pink clothing and accessories.

Because her look is so recognizable, it is an extremely popular look to recreate when costume and Halloween parties come around, and Kandee Johnson shows us just how close to the doll you can get with some carefully applied makeup, reaffirming another makeup artists video about the power of makeup.

Whether you want to try out the look for yourself, or use some of the tips to create your own cute doll look, you just have to see it to believe just how close Kandee gets to the "real" thing.
