'Malibu Country' Premiere: Reba McEntire And Lily Tomlin Talk About Their New ABC Comedy (VIDEO)

WATCH: Reba McEntire & Lily Tomlin Preview 'Malibu Country'

Malibu has gone country, y'all. Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin have teamed up for a new sitcom, "Malibu Country" (premieres Fri., Nov. 2, 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC), and they're both loving playing fish out of water.

In the show, Reba leaves Nashville and her cheating husband behind, packs up her mom, Lillie Mae (Tomlin), and kids, and moves out to California to pursue her long-forgotten music career. LA might not be so welcoming to a more mature artist, but it does have some perks. Mainly? Convenient marijuana dispensaries with tasty edible treats for dear old grandma.

ABC is pairing the show with Tim Allen's sophomore sitcom "Last Man Standing" for what they hope will be a revamp for Friday night comedies.

Watch the video below to see HuffPost TV's catch up with McEntire and Tomlin to find out why they chose to make this their return to TV, what's in store as far as music and original songs on the show and who their dream guest stars from the country music world would be. Dolly, Blake and Miranda, are you watching?
