Sex Offender Exposes Himself To Kids At Walmart: Florida Police Arrest Robert Walyus

TOY AISLE NIGHTMARE: Sex Offender Exposes Himself To Kids At Walmart

Authorities in Florida arrested a man Tuesday who they believe exposed himself to a pair of children shopping in a Walmart toy aisle.

A tip led authorities to 28-year-old Robert Johnathan Walyus -- a registered Sexual Predator -- who police promptly located and arrested at approximately 1:15 a.m., according to a Titusville Police Department press release.

Walyus allegedly flashed the two children while visiting the Titusville Walmart location on Saturday, Feb. 4, police said. He also asked one of the kids if he could touch them, WESH reports.

The Titusville Police Department released surveillance images of the incident, which were broadcast on local news stations and eventually led them to identify the suspect.

Walyus' previous sex offender charges include a 2003 incident in Orange County and a 2008 incident in Seminole County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Titusville authorities also linked Walyus to an October 2011 incident also involving indecent exposure, the press release said.
