Man Taped To Seat On Icelandair Flight: Footage Emerges Of Incident (VIDEO, PHOTO)

WATCH: Video Emerges Of Man Taped To Airplane Seat

One man discovered just how unfriendly the skies can be.

A week after a photo of a man taped to his seat onboard an Icelandair flight made the rounds, footage emerged of the man moaning loudly while heavily restrained.

LiveLeak posted video taken by a fellow passenger aboard the flight from Iceland to New York's JFK Airport.

Gudjon Arngrimsson, the airline's vice president of corporate communications, confirmed to Iceland newspaper Visir that a passenger on an Icelandair flight had to be restrained with the help of other passengers on the night of January 3.

Arngrimsson said the man was subdued because of his dangerous behavior, including threatening the other passengers and flight crew.

No charges were filed against the man who has not been named.

Reddit user "Mezane," who shared the photo of the man taped to the seat, provided some background, though his account has not been confirmed by the airline:

He drank an entire bottle of some duty free alcohol. Then he tried grabbing the women who were sitting next him screaming that we're going to crash. Finally he started chocking [sic] a guy next to him and that's when a huge crowd restrained him and tied him up. This was 2 hours into a 6 hour flight.
