Moore will reportedly play the female lead opposite "Southland's" Ben McKenzie. The pilot centers around "lawyer Shannon Carter (Moore) and ex-con Henry Bird (McKenzie) who team up as 'victim advocates,' going to the very edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog."

Moore was replaced in "Pulling" by Jenny Slate, and the actress told TV Guide that as the producers "moved the character in a different direction, it was clear this wasn't right for me. Rather than jeopardize the show, I asked to step aside."
