Massachusetts Primary 2012 Results MAP: County-By-County Results As They Come In (REAL-TIME DATA)

REAL-TIME RESULTS: The Massachusetts Primary

With Mitt Romney on the ballot, the Massachusetts Republican primary may already be decided.

Just four days before the contest, the state's former governor held a comanding lead in the polls, with close to 64 percent of the vote, according to HuffPost Pollster. Rick Santorum trailed with 21 percent, followed by Ron Paul with 9 percent and Newt Gingrich with 6 percent, going into Super Tuesday.

Losing Massachusetts would be a significant blow to Romney. Beyond losing a sizable portion of the state's GOP delegates , it would signify a tremendous loss of confidence in the candidate in a state where, from 2003 to 2007, he proceeded to eliminate a projected $3 billion deficit. Romney did not seek re-election in Massachusetts in 2008, but instead pursued the presidency.
