Here are the results for the 2012 Minnesota Republican caucus.
Going into the North Star State's contest, former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) appeared poised for a victory, according to recent polling data. In a poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP) released Monday night, the one-time Pennsylvania lawmaker led the race with 33 percent of the vote, followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas).

There are 40 delegates up for grabs in Minnesota, but they won't begin to be awarded until April.
Romney won in Minnesota in 2008, taking 41.4 percent of the vote, The New York Times reports.
