The renown designer, Mara Hoffman unveiled her Resort 2015 collection at the 10th annual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami, Florida. For her Resort 2015 collection, Hoffman introduced a bold new class of reversible bikinis and one pieces that are defined by vibrant colors, shapes, prints and light.
Standout pieces in the Mara Hoffman Resort 2015 collection included a one piece rash guard swimsuit, front lace-up bikini top with matching high-waisted bottoms, cropped rash guards, cut-out one pieces with intricate beading, and a pair of drop crotch pants with a mash-up of three signature prints.
What was the inspiration for your Resort 2015 collection?
Guatemala.
What were your favorite materials and hues used in your Resort 2015 collection?
We develop all of our own custom prints and incorporated a lot of bright color into the collection. Through print, we are able to create a narrative.
What are your favorite looks in the collection?
I really love our long sleeve surf suit and black fringed jumpsuit.
What's next for your brand?
We are constantly looking into evolving our prints and fabrications as well as expanding into different categories for the brand.
