Marc Maron Hates Kale And Is Not Afraid To Say It

"There’s really only two ways to prepare kale: Sadly or self-righteously."

On Tuesday, comedian Marc Maron posed a question probably everyone has been wanting to ask for a while: "When did it become important to eat kale?"

Seriously. Seemingly overnight, the leafy green earned an honorable title of "superfood" and shortly after, began appearing on virtually every restaurant menu. Maron appeared on "Conan" and bemoaned the vegetable, condemning it as food that can only be prepared "sadly or self-righteously." Watch his rant in the clip above.

"Conan" airs weeknights at 11:00 p.m. ET on TBS.
