March 9 is surely a day Maria Menounos will remember forever. Not only did she get engaged, it happened on Howard Stern's live radio show.

Menounos' longtime partner, Keven Undergaro, popped the question during her appearance on Stern's Sirius XM show. The two have been together since 1998.

"Although I said that this isn't a proposal, I want to ask you something, Maria," Undergaro said as he got down on his knee. "Will you make me the happiest man on Earth?"

Menounos didn't even see it coming: "Are you freaking kidding me right now?!" she gasped.

Undergaro continued with his proposal: "This show's meant so much to both of us. I said, one day you will be on that show and you will be a star and here you are."

Luckily for us, the entire moment -- including Menounos' surprised reaction -- was caught on camera:

Of course, the 37-year-old "E! News" host said yes.

After the proposal, Menounos brought her parents into the studio for a little celebration.

"I'm thrilled," her mom Litsa told Stern. "We wanted her to get married with the right person and there he is."

We wish them all the best!
