The Miami Heat bounced back from their epic Game 2 collapse and grabbed a 2-1 NBA Finals lead, beating the Mavericks 88-86 in Dallas. The Heat had an answer for everything the Mavericks threw at them and it showed early on. With 3.5 seconds left in the first quarter, Miami's Udonis Haslem received the inbound pass at half court and dished it to the trailing Mario Chalmers. The Heat point guard avoided a backcourt violation and sunk a running 3-pointer as time expired. The wild buzzer beater gave the Heat a 29-22 lead.
