Mark Consuelos Guest Co-Hosts 'Live! With Kelly' (VIDEO)

Kelly Ripa finally invited her husband Mark Consuelos back to co-host "Live! With Kelly" Monday, and the show both displayed the great chemistry that viewers have grown fond of watching and illustrated why Consuelos as a permanent co-host candidate might not be the best idea.

The couple started off by telling a charming, gross story about the family dog, Chewy Consuelos. Ripa said, "As soon as you acknowledge her, she rolls over on her back, and pees straight up!” Later, the couple started bickering -- in jest -- when Consuelos asked Ripa to acknowledge that she treats him "like an infant." She responded, "You are like a newborn baby."

In a June interview with Vanity Fair, Ripa said the former "All My Children" co-stars didn't think their marriage could survive permanently co-hosting "Live!" together. “No one would make me happier than Mark, but he values our marriage and he says that he doesn’t see how we could stay married and both do that show."
