Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, was so distracted by a video clip of a dancing Rob Kardashian that was playing while we spoke that he stopped our interview to comment on Kim's younger brother's ample assets -- before jumping right back into talking about his new play about gay marriage, of course.
According to Mark, Kelly had no idea when she went to his first performance of "Standing On Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays" that she would see her husband making out with another man.
"Um, I didn't tell her about the kiss, wanted her to be surprised," Mark told me. So how does Kelly feel about her husband's man-on-man makeout session? "She loved it. I thought she could relate."
Kelly even piped in with a bit of advice for her fish-out-of-water husband.
"Craig Bierko [whom Mark kisses on-stage] is a very handsome man," he reasons. "I asked Kelly to give me notes and she gave me two after seeing the show. 'Don't strong-arm Craig when he goes in for the kiss' and 'don't strong-arm Craig when he goes in for the kiss.'"
"Standing On Ceremony" consists of nine short plays that dissect the topic of gay marriage and how it affects everyone, gay or straight -- a subject that both Mark and Kelly are very passionate about.
"I hope gay marriage will be legal in every state," said Mark, adding that he would be cool if any of his three children were gay.
