Mark Sanford Makes Rare Appearance With New Fiance

Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R) won the Republican nomination for the state's 1st Congressional District race on Tuesday, later making a rare appearance with the Argentinian woman at the heart of his 2009 sex scandal.

That woman, Maria Belen Chapur, is now Sanford's fiancee. The two got engaged last summer, a year and a half after Sanford and his then-wife, Jenny Sanford, divorced.
