Mark Zuckerberg And Facebook March In San Francisco's Gay Pride Parade

LOOK: Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg In San Francisco's Gay Pride Parade!

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black were among the marchers in San Francisco's 43rd Annual Gay Pride Parade this past weekend but another Silicon Valley celebrity was there, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Facebook rented a trolley car and adorned it with prideful decorations as 700 of the company's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees walked along, with Zuckerberg among those on the trolley.

This was the third year Facebook has marched in San Francisco's Pride Parade and it also comes at a time when Facebook has been very open about their acceptance and love for the LGBT community.

Miley Cyrus paid the Facebook LGBT group a visit when she stopped by Facebook headquarters recently. Last week the company created a rainbow emoticon for status updates along with the hashtag #PrideConnectsUs, which was perfectly timed to coincide with Pride Month and the Supreme Court overturning the Defense of Marriage Act and Prop 8.

Facebook also released a new report that found 70% of Facebook users in the United States are connected to "a friend who has expressly identified themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual on their timeline."
