Mark Zuckerberg Holds Team Meeting With Chewbacca, Ewoks

Mark Zuckerberg, lead Jedi at Facebook, united Imperial and Rebel forces alike for a "team meeting" Wednesday.

Chewbacca, two Ewoks, a Rebel soldier and an Imperial stormtrooper sat down for a discussion with the Facebook CEO, who sported his usual gray T-shirt and blue jeans rather than getting into the spirit of "Star Wars Day," a fake holiday that exists to sell movie merchandise.

Perhaps in a nod to Facebook's woeful diversity figures, the photo is populated only by humans and alien species of woodland origins. Chewbacca, a Wookiee, hails from the green planet Kashyyyk, while Ewoks -- as any fan of "Return of the Jedi" knows -- reside on Endor, a forest moon. Both Wookiees and Ewoks are considered "cute" and "friendly" according to unrealistic standards perpetuated by the human media.

There were no Jawas, Wampas or Toydarians at Wednesday's meeting. It's not clear whether Tusken Raiders are well-represented at the company, since they ride single file to hide their numbers.

A request for comment regarding the species in the photo was not immediately returned.
