Back in the '90s, Marla Maples was known as the other woman who had a scandalous affair with billionaire mogul Donald Trump. Though the couple had a daughter named Tiffany and married in 1993, Maples and Trump divorced six years later. Now, Maples says she lives "such a different life" than she did when she was with Trump and recently shared her candid thoughts about her ex-husband and his family on "Oprah: Where Are They Now?"
"I still love Donald," Maples says in the video above. "I love [his children] Eric and Ivanka and Donnie so much. I had the chance to know them when they were young and now to see how well they're doing just touches my heart."
Maples says she's sometimes overcome with emotion watching her former stepchildren. "We watch 'The Apprentice' and I cry when I see the kids on it," she confesses with a smile. "I'm crazy! I'm that emotional person."
As for her daughter with Trump, Maples says that she took on the daily responsibilities of parenting. "I've had a real blessing of being able to raise Tiffany as a single parent," Maples says. "Her daddy of course took care of school, her education and some of our needs, but as far as the day-to-day parenting, I've been the one here."
Also in the video, Maples explains how close she is with Tiffany and how Tiffany's enrollment at the University of Pennsylvania has brought the 19-year-old closer to the Trump family. Plus, Maples opens up about the "financial chaos" she's experienced over the last year and what it has taught her about true happiness.
