Marriage Proposals: Man's Proposal Has An Embarrassing Typo (VIDEO)

WATCH: Man's Marriage Proposal Has An Embarrassing Typo

This guy could really have used spell-check.

Last month, Loren Lentz of Washington decided to propose to his girlfriend, Jody Schaeffer, by using his tractor to plow "Jody will u marry me" into a field. But when he finished, Lentz told local news station KREM that his 10-year-old daughter noticed a mistake.

"She said, 'Dad, you did the 'J' backwards,'" Lentz said.

He realized she was right but decided to go through with the proposal anyway, taking Schaeffer up in airplane and flying over the field. Schaeffer noticed that her name was spelled "Lody," not "Jody" -- but she still said yes.

Luckily for Lentz, his mistake didn't cost him his fiancee, but some are not so fortunate. Reddit users shared stories of proposals gone wrong here, and if that's not enough, check out this video of a woman rejecting her boyfriend's proposal on the jumbotron at a basketball game.
