Marshawn Lynch Skittles: Seahawks Fans Shower Running Back With Candy After Touchdown (VIDEO)

Seahawks Fans Shower Running Back With Skittles After TD

The Seattle Seahawks kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a blowout win over the St. Louis Rams on Monday Night Football. But even though their chances of clinching a postseason berth are small, that doesn't mean the Seahawks fans aren't enjoying the ride. And why shouldn't they? Running back Marshawn Lynch has taken control of the offense, scoring a touchdown in nine consecutive games and rushing for 100 yards in five of the last six games. And he loves Skittles!

After scoring a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, NFL Network cameras caught Lynch chowing down on some skittles on the sideline. He said that his mother would give him the candy when he would score touchdowns in high school.

When Lynch scored a 16-yard touchdown to put Seattle up 30-13, Seahawks fans -- some carrying signs reading "Feed The Beast" -- showered the running back with bags of Skittles. Some just launched handfuls of the candy into the end zone. ESPN showed a great replay in slow motion of Lynch celebrating in the end zone in the midst of a rainbow candy shower.

Can you imagine how the fans would react if he scored a touchdown in the playoffs? Oh wait. We know what would happen. An earthquake!
