Martin Bashir: Herman Cain A 'Dirty Old Man' (VIDEO)

MSNBC Host's Latest Attack On Cain

Apparently, Martin Bashir has had enough of Herman Cain. The MSNBC host had some charged words to say about the GOP candidate's qualifications and alleged misconduct during his show Monday afternoon.

Bashir — who has criticized Cain in the past — hammered the candidate for his foreign policy missteps. Bashir said he didn't know if he should "laugh or cry over [Cain's] poor grasp of economic and global politics."

Bashir described Cain as a "showman who preaches the need for a sense of humor." He called Cain's campaign "a joke" and said that it was "easy for us to be seduced to by his rapid fire one-liners, his singing of 'Imagine There's No Pizza,' and his smoking chief of staff."

Bashir warned, however, that the "sober facts" about Herman Cain are simply, "not so funny."

"Mr. Cain seems less funny by the day, and more like a dirty old man," Bashir said.
