If you had $200,000 and were searching for a place to live, you could put a respectable down payment on a nice home somewhere in Los Angeles. Or you could blow it on one month of fun in Martin Lawrence's house.
The Beverly Hills "Bad Boy" is offering up his abode for rent at the staggering price of $200,000, reports Trulia. The listing photos reveal that, despite the French estate-style formality of the massive 13,900 square foot mansion, there are a lot of ways to have fun in there.
There is, most obviously, the beautiful pool and spa -- which comes alongside a cabana and outside kitchen, of course. The 2.2 acre property also includes a sunken tennis court and "perfectly manicured" landscaped grounds.
The fun continues indoors, where a game room contains a pool table and the home theater comes with a concession stand. At 1,000 square feet, his indoor gym comes close to or eclipses the size of many Angelenos' apartments. Altogether, the home has seven bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms, which include two staff quarters.
On a sad note, the rental listing comes weeks after Lawrence announced a split from his wife of two years (and girlfriend of many more years) Shamicka Lawrence. In a joint statement, the former couple said: "Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."
Lawrence's Beverly Hills home had served as their wedding site. He and Shamicka have two children together.
