Police in Florida say a woman stabbed her boyfriend because he would go when he didn't have to go.
Authorities in Collier County claim 46-year-old Mary Ramos slashed her boyfriend twice because he was spending too much time inside their apartment complex's public bathroom -- where he would allegedly meet a naked woman who also lived in the building.
Sheriff's deputies responding to reports of a domestic disturbance in Immokalee encountered the wounded victim, who was bleeding from an abrasion on his face, at around 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21.
The victim told authorities that his girlfriend "was awake all night and drinking alcohol" before the couple got into an argument, according to an arrest report obtained by AOL Weird News.
That's when Ramos allegedly "punched him in the mouth with a closed fist two times, knocking him to the bed."
Ramos then grabbed a 10-inch knife and stabbed the victim twice, leaving him with a 12-inch-long gash on his chest and a 6-inch long cut on his stomach, the document notes.
The suspect fled the scene, but police were able to track her down and bring her to the station for questioning.
That's where Ramos told her side of the story.
"Mary stated that she asked [the victim] what's going on with him and the other lady at the apartment complex," according to the police report. "Mary said [the victim] goes to the community restroom when the other lady is always around. Mary said the other lady is usually naked when he uses the restroom."
Ramos has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
