Mary Tyler Moore Calls Valerie Harper To Talk 'Rhoda' On 'Good Morning America' (VIDEO)

A 'Rhoda' Reunion!

Mary Tyler Moore gave "Rhoda" fans and Valerie Harper a very big surprise on "Good Morning America" (Weekdays, 7 a.m. EST on ABC).

Harper, who played the titular Rhoda on the '70s sitcom, stopped by "GMA" to talk about her memoir "I, Rhoda." But Moore -- whose "Rhoda" character spawned the very successful "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" spinoff -- shocked Harper by calling in to chat. Harper couldn't get over the unexpected call and was clearly overjoyed to talk to Moore.

Harper and Moore last saw each other at Betty White's birthday bash, but struggled to recall which year White was celebrating. "Who can remember? She's had so many of them," Moore joked.
