Maude Apatow, the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann, is coming into her own. The 15-year-old rising star has been named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" in the Hollywood category.
The list highlights young leaders in a variety of subjects, such as sports, technology, education, and music.
Maude got her start in 2007, playing the daughter to her real-life mother, Leslie Mann, in "Knocked Up," which was also directed by her father, Judd. Maude worked with both of her parents again in 2009's "Funny People," directed by Judd, and starring Mann. This week, she gets her third family film, with the release of "This Is 40." Directed by Judd, and once again starring Mann, "This Is 40" is a spinoff of "Knocked Up."
But she doesn't just stick to acting. "Apatow has also become a well-followed tweeter and writer, contributing to Zooey Deschanel's website Hello Giggles," reads Maude's entry on the Forbes list. Currently with more than 100,000 followers, Maude is known for her unique brand of wit.
At just 15, Maude ties Chloe Moretz as the youngest person in the Hollywood category. ''Saturday Night Live" writer and actress Kate McKinnon led the list, with Aziz Ansari, Lena Dunham, and Rebel Wilson also making appearances.
