
Sounding a bit like his brother, the usually measured Cook County Commissioner John Daley called the unfolding contract scandal in County Board President Todd Stroger's office "a disgrace" and is behind two proposals aimed at micromanaging the county's lame duck chief executive.
Daley, the mayor's brother, is among a growing number of commissioners demanding answers about an under-the-radar county contract given to Stroger's campaign spokesperson-turned-$120,000-a-year deputy chief of staff.
