Media Terrified to Call Trump What He Really Is -- a B.S. Artist

I'm not at all convinced Donald Trump is a racist. I AM convinced he is a bullshit artist. With a towering ego. And it's well past time someone in the national media called him on it directly -- in the interest of pure accuracy.

I'm not at all convinced Donald Trump is a racist.
I AM convinced he is a bullshit artist.
With a towering ego.
And it's well past time someone in the national media called him on it directly -- in the interest of pure accuracy.
There's an old saying in show biz:
"There's lies. And then there's bullshit."
Trump -- and most used-car salesmen -- know the difference.
Why doesn't the corporate media know it?
I suspect Trump is dismissive of minorities, not hateful. He says what the Fox News boob-wa-zee wants to hear.
And yes, it does plenty of damage to the national discourse, playing to the tens of millions of drooling idiots and bigots in this country as Trump does.
As for this Cheeto-hued fixer's ego, there are big Hollywood stars who must be watching Trump in amazement and thinking, "...and I thought I had a big ego, but I can't touch this guy!"
This Obama supporter loathes the supplicant national media far more than Trump -- for letting him get away with this unending stream of B.S.
My radio colleague Norman Goldman is always referencing the "corporate media," disparagingly, and I couldn't agree more.
Driven largely by profits and secondarily by lack of backbone and hours of airtime to kill, they've let Trump get away with his unending line of B.S. on everything from Mexican rapists to 9-11 Muslim cheerleaders.
Until recently, political reporters have tried everything they could to avoid using the word "liar" when describing Trump. A few have "caved."
"Liar" doesn't sound quite as strong as "bullshit artist," but it's a start.
