Meet the woman changing the face of gun ownership in America
Marchelle "Tig" Tigner-Washington is on a mission to teach one million women to use a gun. Why? "I think it's important that women feel like they're in control of their safety," she writes on her website. But are guns the answer? As a domestic and sexual abuse survivor, Tig thinks they could be. After serving 7 years in the National Guard, she started her own firearm training company. Her next move? To open up her own shooting range and arm the country's women.
