Megan Fox Replaces Zooey Deschanel On 'New Girl' During Maternity Leave

This new girl might look a little familiar.

Megan Fox is taking a break from hanging out with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" to chill with a bunch of dudes who act even younger.

The actress has signed on to star in "New Girl" for Season 5 while the original new girl, Zooey Deschanel, is on maternity leave. Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed their first child last month.

Fox will reportedly play Reagan, a pharmaceutical sales rep who rents out Jess’ (Deschanel) room while she is on jury duty. She'll join "New Girl" for the sixth episode of the new season, set to premiere in January, and is said to "shake things up" on the show, which also stars Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and Lamorne Morris.

“It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it,” said executive producer Liz Meriwether, according to Entertainment Weekly.
