Meghan McCain must have missed the memo when all the journalists at the White House Correspondents Dinner solemnly swore in April "not to talk about Hillary's appearance ... because that is not journalism," as prompted by comedian host Cecily Strong.

In a guest host appearance Wednesday on Fox News' "The Five," the media personality and daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) joined in the panel's criticism of how Democratic presidential candidate Clinton handled a Las Vegas press conference on Tuesday in which she became visibly frustrated with reporters pressing her about her private email server.

"She looks like she’s in a prison jumpsuit," McCain said. "It’s all orange."

While male candidates' wardrobes are rarely discussed, Clinton's appearance has long been fodder during political roundtables. She even joked last year that she considered titling her latest book, The Scrunchie Chronicles: 112 Countries and It's Still All about My Hair, in reference to the media's obsession with her sporting the ponytail accessory.

McCain also predicted that investigations into Clinton's private email server could shape up to be a major historical event.

"I think this could be our generation’s Watergate," she said.
