Fox News Gets A Kick Out Of Ed Schultz Saying Rand Paul Has A Problem With Women

Fox News had a good laugh Thursday night at the accusation that Kentucky senator and 2016 presidential candidate Rand Paul is short-tempered with female interviewers.

Host Megyn Kelly defended Paul, saying that critics are trying to turn Paul's general problem with media interviews into a "gender issue."

Exhibit A, she said, is MSNBC's Ed Schultz.

Schultz called out the senator on his program Thursday evening, claiming that "there is evidence Rand Paul has a real problem with women reporters.”

Kelly and Ann Coulter just couldn't contain their laughter.

“This is Ed Schultz trying to lecture us about somebody who has a problem with women," Kelly said. "Ed Schultz!"

Kelly was referring to Schultz's own controversial behavior towards women, most notably when he was suspended in 2011 after calling radio host Laura Ingraham a "right-wing slut."

"He's definitely the one who should be taking up the battle on this one," Coulter quipped. “When I’m worried about how women are being treated, I go to Ed Schultz."
