You've been hearing this for years, and it's not changing anytime soon: Meryl Streep has more nominations than any other actor or actress in Oscar history. Streep began Thursday morning with the news that she'd snagged her 19th nod from the Academy, for "Into the Woods," meaning she continues to lord over Jack Nicholson and Katharine Hepburn, whose 12 nominations each make them the second most-nominated stars.

Nicholson, 77, is the only living actor or actress with the remote possibility of catching up with Streep, 65 -- and that seems incredibly unlikely, as Madame Meryl isn't slowing down anytime soon. Al Pacino has eight nods, while Judi Dench, Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman can claim seven each. Here are all the films for which Streep has earned nominations so far.
