Metta World Peace Kisses Fan During Lakers-Jazz Preseason Game (VIDEO)

Metta World Peace Kisses Fan

Don't forget about Metta World Peace. With the Los Angeles Lakers importing superstars during the NBA offseason, it could be easy to forget that one of the most eccentric and unpredictable players in the league is still wearing purple and gold.

World Peace stole the spotlight in a preseason game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. First, he empathically stuffed Gordon Hayward's shot on a fast break. As the ball bounced into the seats behind the basket, World Peace walked over to retrieve it. Before he walked back onto the court with the ball, he took the hand of a female fan and kissed it. After World Peace returned to the court, the fan exchanged a low five with a friend sitting next to her.

"I just saw in her eyes that she liked the hustle," World Peace said after the Lakers' 99-86 win, via Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Times. "I saw it in her eyes. We made eye contact."

World Peace, who made a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, tweeted the difference between his attitude in the preseason than in the regular season on Sunday.

It sure looks like he's having fun.
