This week's cinema houses take movie lovers around the world, from a Japanese subway to world-famous sushi by renowned chef Jiro, Israel for a 1960s summer of love with a matchmaker, and a dark tug-of-war of hearts in England with Rachel Weisz.
Movie buffs will be psyched for the rare screening of the 1902 French film "A Trip to the Moon" and The Monkees fans will be treated to a free Davy Jones tribute, fit with a screening of "Head."
If you missed some of the big movies from the last few weeks, it's your last chance to catch a screening of "Pina," paying tribute to the German choreographer, and the animated Cuban film "Chico and Rita."
Chico and Rita

This illustrated film tells the story of jazz pianist Chico and the beautiful singer Rita. When they come together in 1940s Havana, their love takes them to the United States and back to Cuba in time for the revolution.

Nominated for best documentary at the Academy Awards, this is Wim Wender’s tribute to choreographer Pina Baush, who died in 2009. Watch dance unlike any you’ve seen before. Dancers take to the busy streets, beaches, mountains of Germany -- anywhere,really, and break into beautiful moves.
The Turin Horse

Grand Prize winner at the Berlin Film Festival, this film set in 1889 follows a man who is traumatized by the beating of a horse. He becomes a mute while the man who owns the horse struggles with food and water growing scarce. In the distance, the apocalypse is near.
A Trip to the Moon

This 16-minute film has been restored for its 100th anniversary. One of the first science fiction films, six brave astronauts travel to the moon and are surprised by what they find on the surface.
The Deep Blue Sea

Based on the 1952 play by Terence Rattigan, Rachel Weisz plays a lonely woman in a loveless marriage with a judge in post-war England. When she meets a former Royal Air Force pilot, she discovers a world of both overwhelming erotic love and isolation. Released in 2011 for the 100th anniversary of Rattigan’s birth, this film has its audience wondering if stability or love is the goal.

What better place to premiere a movie in Florida about House music than in Miami? The crew of My House Rocs goes around the world to House dance parties in seemingly unlikely place, following the night of dancers and passion. A DJ set by Young Starr will bein at 4:15 p.m.

Davy Jones Tribute

In the summer of 1968 in Israel, mystery-loving teen, Arik, finds a job working for a matchmaker who survived the Holocaust. Just like the detectives in his favorite novels, Arik becomes a spy for the matchmaker, but he ends up learning a bit about love and lust along the way. Avi Nesher’s film was nominated for seven awards at the Israeli Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
