Yes, we're aware that Monday is in no way considered the weekend, but when the Material Girl comes to town, she's powerful enough to change the structure of our workweek.

Madge swoops her majorette/cone bra party (AKA her MDNA Tour) into Miami's American Airlines Arena Monday night, capping off a weekend of literary prowess thanks to the Miami Book Fair International.

For one week, the 305 becomes a rare think tank of both the written and spoken word. Talking heads like that Fox News curmudgeon Bill O'Reilly headline the Fair Saturday night while Naomi Wolf talks lady parts, Dave Barry discusses lunatics, and John Hughes muse Molly Ringwald takes a stab at fiction.

Take a break from books with Tobacco Road's 100 Year Anniversary party and with a Fillmore Miami Beach performance by Regina Spektor.
