An Illinois man was arrested after he allegedly called 911 on five different occasions to report that his iPhone was not working.
Police were unclear as to what Michael Alan Skopec, 48, expected them to do about his malfunctioning smartphone, but deputies reported that when they arrived at his home on the 200 block of Swanson Ln. in Kendall County just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, Skopec appeared to be intoxicated, according to The Smoking Gun.
Police were investigating the calls as a disorderly conduct case when they arrested Skopec at his home, WLS reports. Skopec has been charged with obstructing or resisting a peace officer, a misdemeanor.
