Michael B. Jordan Took A Real-Life Hit While Filming 'Creed'

No pain, no gain.

Michael B. Jordan truly rolled with the punches while filming his new movie "Creed."

Jordan's on-screen mentor and trainer, Sylvester Stallone, shared his admiration for his co-star by posting a video clip of the actor getting "KO'd" on Twitter Wednesday.

In the film, Jordan plays Adonis Johnson -- the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), a formal rival and friend of Rocky Balboa (Stallone) featured in the "Rocky" movies.

Sly Stallone said Jordan's knockout was "for real" and even credited him for having the "guts" to get up only to get knocked out again -- all for the dedication to "Creed." The movie hit theaters on Nov. 25.

You know what they say: no pain, no gain.
