Michael Beasley Cited For Marijuana Possession: Timberwolves Player Also Cited For Speeding

Timberwolves Player Cited For Marijuana Possession

Minnesota Timberwolves GM David Kahn said last year that he believes Michael Beasley is maturing and getting rid of his bad habits after "smoking too much marijuana" as a member of the Miami Heat.

Turns out that Kahn was wrong.

According to KARE 11, the Timberwolves forward was cited for possession of marijuana and speeding in Minnesota last week.

He was pulled over around 3 a.m. on June 26. Police then searched his vehicle and found 16.2 grams of marijuana.

Beasley, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft, admitted himself to a rehab center in Houston before the 2009-10 season a couple days after he posted controversial photos on his Twitter page that showed what may have been a small bag of marijuana in the background.
