Michael Douglas Shares Sweet Photo Of Kirk Douglas On His 99th Birthday

We are all Spartacus.

Screen legend Kirk Douglas turned 99 years old on Wednesday.

The star of the stage and screen has appeared in over 90 films, including "The Bad and the Beautiful," "Paths of Glory" and "Spartacus," making him one of the most renowned actors still alive today.

His son and fellow actor, Michael Douglas, shared a touching photo of the two on his Facebook account (props for having FB, Michael), wishing his dear old dad a happy birthday.

"Happy 99th Birthday Dad! I love you, Michael." Douglas captioned the photo.

Michael's wife, Oscar winner (and don't you forget it!) Catherine Zeta-Jones also made her birthday wishes public and posted a photo of her father-in-law on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday to my dearest Father in Law, Kirk. 99 years young today. I love you with all my heart," Zeta-Jones captioned an image of herself giving Kirk a kiss on the cheek.

Outside of the family, celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Larry King took to Twitter to offer their best wishes on Kirk's 99th.

In case you forgot, Kirk, Michael and Michael's son Cameron Douglas shared the screen together in the 2003 drama "It Runs in the Family." Diana Douglas, Michael's mother and Kirk's ex-wife, also played the wife of Kirk's character in the film.

Bernadette Peters must have felt pretty left out.

Happy 99th, Kirk!
