Michael Jordan's Chicago House Is On The Market For $14,855,000

Michael Jordan's House Has A Price You'll Laugh At... But Not Because It's High

Hoop, here it is.

Michael Jordan's Chicago mansion went on the market yesterday for "just" $14,855,000. Notice those digits? They add up to 23, Jordan's jersey number when he led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles. The price is a slight drop from the home's most recent listing at $16 million, and we've gotta say the nod to Jordan's number is a giggle, indeed.

In addition to its nine bedrooms, the 56,000 square-foot house has 15 bathrooms, a regulation-size basketball court and gym, an infinity pool, putting green, tennis court, cigar room and a stunning front gate emblazoned with a big ol' number 23.

"The house is really a celebration of success," said Kofi Nartey, who is co-listing the property The Agency colleague Mauricio Umansky and Katherine Malkin of Baird & Warner. "And it's about sharing that success with others."

Um, we'd be MORE than glad to share in the success of this palace-meets-compound-meets-resort.

Jordan no longer lives in the custom-built home, which is located in Chicago's Highland Park neighborhood. It was first listed in 2012 with an asking price of $29 million, and the price has changed many times since, with no sale. The home was offered at auction in 2013 with a reported reserve price of $13 million, but didn't move then, either.

Maybe this'll be the buzzer shot.
