Michael Moore Drops A Truth Bomb About Same-Sex Marriage On 'The View'

The filmmaker is also VERY ready for Hillary.

On Monday’s installment of “The View,” filmmaker Michael Moore had nothing but praise for Hillary Clinton.

But when Moore suggested that Clinton rarely spoke about her religious faith publicly because she simply “lives it,” one of the show’s co-hosts interjected.

“I wish she played up her faith and talked about it more,” Candace Cameron Bure, who is a conservative Christian and has defended businesses for citing their religious views in turning away gay and lesbian customers, said. Seemingly pointing to Clinton’s stance on same-sex marriage and abortion rights, she added, “With some of her positions, I don’t believe she lives it. For those people that really look to the Bible, [understanding Clinton’s viewpoints is] very difficult.”

Moore, who is currently promoting his new film, “Michael Moore In TrumpLand,” begged to differ. “What I say to people who are against abortion is: if you’re against it, don’t have one,” he said. “If you are against gay marriage, don’t get gay married. You won’t like it. It’s not for you! But live and let live.”

That isn’t to say Moore, who was a vocal supporter of Bernie Sanders, is on board with all of Clinton’s platform. “I can give you all the political reasons that I disagree with her on,” he said. “But to think of her in the Oval Office representing this country ― I mean, come on!”

Well said, Michael!
