Reagan's Son: 'My Father Would Be So Embarrassed' By Trump's Event With Bill Clinton's Accusers

Trump "has lost his mind," the son of former President Ronald Reagan tweeted Sunday.

Michael Reagan, son of the late President Ronald Reagan, on Sunday said his father would be “so embarrassed” at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump holding an event with several women who have accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct.

Trump called the event, which was broadcast live on his Facebook page, “debate prep.” After seeing news of the event, Reagan tweeted that Trump “has lost his mind.”

Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathy Shelton spoke out on behalf of Trump at the event Sunday. Three of those women have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct, and one woman says his wife, Hillary Clinton, now the Democratic nominee for president, was unsympathetic to her when Clinton was a public defender.

Reagan, who has said he won’t vote for Trump, encouraged people who “loved” his father to vote down-ballot for Republicans “to save the Country and the Republican Party.”

A slew of Republicans have renounced their support of Trump in the past 48 hours, following the leak of a 2005 video where Trump talked about trying to sleep with a married woman and bragged about how easy it is for him to commit sexual assault.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
